For more than 40 years, Ginny has worked as a Registered Nurse. She retired from public health nursing in Maryland, relocated to North Carolina and then returned to work as a school nurse with Hickory Public Schools. After 10 years of school nursing, Ginny retired again and continues to work part time advocating for and helping the disabled.
Ginny received her BSN from Bowie State University and went on to obtain her Master of Science degree in Management from The University of Maryland. She is a certified school nurse and received honors as 2012-2013 School Nurse of the Year from the NC Parent Teacher Association. She currently serves on the board of directors for Council on Adolescents of Catawba County.
Ginny’s passion is nursing. She uses her vast health experience, knowledge, and expertise to help disabled people develop strong SSA disability claims. She represents Foothills Disability Law clients at Medicaid hearings.
Ginny and her husband live in Newton and enjoy traveling and spending time with family. Ginny has two children and four grandchildren all living in the Hickory area.
