To better serve clients, Foothills Disability Law, a firm dedicated solely to helping impaired individuals seeking Social Security disability, has moved its offices to Suite 611 in the Wells Fargo Building in downtown Hickory. The firm is open for walk-in clients Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and all other times by appointment only.

Foothills Disability Law serves adults seeking Social Security Disability benefits in the Foothills region including Hickory, Conover, Newton, Morganton, Taylorsville, Stony Point, Hiddenite, Hudson, Hildebran, Connelly Springs, Lincolnton, Statesville, Mooresville, and other areas of Catawba, Burke, Caldwell, Alexander, Iredell, and Lincoln Counties.

Along with highly qualified disability representation, Attorney Nancy L. Huegerich, Accredited Disability Representative C. Jane Johnson, and Medical Specialist Ginny Beisler, RN, provide clients with extensive case management services including help with acquiring insurance or Medicaid, connecting to community services, and guidance in acquiring appropriate medical treatment to support disability claims. “It’s becoming more and more difficult to win disability claims,” Jane explains. “Just saying you can’t work is not enough. Your treatment sources, medical records and activities must support your disability. It takes a team approach to improve successful outcomes.”

“We offer clients a great team,” adds Nancy. “Ginny is an expert at understanding medical records and impairments. Jane knows how to navigate the disability system and is a strong hearing representative. I bring legal expertise and a history of legal writing. We all know about services in the community and have strong ties with providers. And all of us are passionate about helping disabled clients get the benefits they need and deserve.”

With more than 20 years combined experience in law, disability representation and medical case management, the Foothills Disability Law team holds memberships in National Association of Social Security Claims Representatives, National Association of Disability Representatives, North Carolina Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice – Disability Advocacy Section, and is licensed to appear before all North Carolina Courts including Western, Eastern, and Middle Districts.

Foothills Disability Law is located at 200 1st Avenue NW, Suite 611, Hickory, NC 28601. Initial consultations are free, and by law, disability claims are contingency based – if a representative does not win your case, no fee is due.
